A Monochromatic Perspective
Welcome to the details of my exhibition which was part of the 2021 Ballarat Foto Biennale. Now closed I have taken down the majority of the work at Red Peppa located at 34 Sturt Street in Ballarat but, 6 selected works remain in place if you are interested in seeing them.
Details:
I have titled my images using the native language from whence they came. By going to the exhibition web site, you can get more information on where they were taken and what was going on at the time. If any one takes your fancy, you can place order online. Please  click here for website and further information.
Meaning:
Monochromatic: /mɒnə(ʊ)krəˈmatɪk/
Having only one colour, represented by differing hues, tints or shades in black and white.
 Perspective: /pəˈspɛktɪv/
A particular attitude towards or way of regarding something; a point of view.
Life is quirky, big, beautiful. Showcasing in black and white and hues contrasts it more. These are moments captured in light from strange distant lands, cultures, and people but as beings we can all respond to. Pocketed memories showing a particular attitude, regard, and different way of seeing things. We all hope for unfettered travel to begin again but, until then, continue to dream, ponder, and be surprised.
Thank you to my exhibition partners: Millie at Red Peppa on Sturt, Jeff Grant Fine Art Printing, Chris Brown at Frame n Art Chiltern and Stephen Lane AKA Panda at Corowa Jewellery.
